| STATE OF DELAWARE
APPROVES PMCap REPAIR METHOD FOR USE IN THE REFINERY INDUSTRY |
| Pottstown, PA, February 26, 2006 |
PMC Engineering, Inc., a
full service engineering company, announced today that the State of
Delaware has approved the use of their patented PMCap repair method for
pressure vessels in the refinery industry
“We are very pleased that the Boiler Safety Unit of the
Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control for Delaware
has accepted the use of PMCaps. Delaware joins a growing list of
State Jurisdictions that have given their support to this innovative
repair approach.” stated John Wiedemann, Vice President of
Engineering at PMC. “The introduction of the PMCap
technology to the refinery industry follows our success in the Power
Industry. We expect the significant advantages the PMCap provides
to our nuclear clients will be of similar benefit to the refinery
industry."
The patented PMCap provides the only Code approved pressure boundary
repair that is accomplished from the outside without cutting and
replacing vessel shell. This approach typically results in
completing repairs and restoring equipment to service in record time at
minimal cost without compromising safety. |
